HISTORY: Akando was the depraved leader of the racist group known as the First Ones, and the mastermind behind a bloody coup that became dubbed the “Battle of Red Tears” due to the fact the human prince cut out one of his eyes in a swordfight. After slaughtering the former royal family and sending their son into exile, Akando now rules Sorian and spends most of his time generally being a creepy and evil bugger. He keeps two cat people and a personal messenger as his “personal assistants,” and he has a great desire to destroy the Chimera Nation and Daray and his family in particular.

MAGIC/SPECIAL ABILITYS: Akando's a political guru, expert swordsman, and psychic vampire. He can drain energy from opponents simply by standing next to them until they either feel too tired to oppose him, lose consciousness, or go into a coma. He can use the energy to create pleasure or pain with a touch.

TRIVIA: The master healer who was sent to aide Akando after he was wounded the night of the coup was so afraid of him that he messed up his healing spell. If he hadn't, Akando could have been healed as if nothing had ever been wrong with him. The healer didn't make the same mistake twice.
Akando has a strange habit of keeping his one good eye covered with his hair, yet still seems able to somehow see with his “blind” eye. Except when it comes to doorframes.
Akando is a junkie of his own power. It's easier for him to feel other people's emotions than his own, and he has to "feed" off the emotions of others regularly in order to function.
Akando always wears a glove on his left hand, except when bathing. At night he takes the metal one off and wears a soft one to bed. Akando's hair is naturally white. He was a very pale blonde as a boy, but his power sucked the rest of the color out of it by the time he was 19.
