PERSONALITY:
Prince Darrin is a nice kid for the most part, but he could be a poster
boy for selling Ritalin. He’s too curious, too enthusiastic, talks too
much, and he has a tendency towards pranking. He's eccentric and has
developed a love of cooking, though he still can't figure out why most
of his experiments explode without having anything combustible in them.
He also comes with his own warning label in a magically bonded bracelet
to his left wrist that says “Warning: Keep out of the reach of sugar.” HISTORY:
Prince Darrin is Shira’s little brother. He displays more of his dragon
heritage than his sister does, with added benefit of wings, horns, and
a tail. While his sister grew up more in the cities, he’s been growing
up in the forest, and he acts like it. He was sent along with his
sister and her party as the resident magic user and for safety
concerns…though nobody is exactly sure who's yet. MAGIC/SPECIAL
ABILITIES: Darrin is a novice mage, and while he has a large repertoire
of spells, he's adept at very few of them. He's a good flyer, but he
tends to rely on trees to help him land. He can use his dragon talons
to fight with, and he's more durable than the average boy, which is a
good thing in his case. TRIVIA: Darrin was never submitted to life at the courts because it was much harder for him to cover up what he was.
PHRASE: “Say, could you get me down? I've got a stick somewhere unmentionable, and it's starting to chaffe.”
