PERSONALITY: The Meep is a cute fluffy ball with big teeth. She’s not the brightest of critters, and nobody knows where she comes from or is going, but she seems to have a terrible crush on Matt (much to his dismay) and follows him everywhere, often tripping him up, trying to chew on his hair, or rubbing up against his ankles.

HISTORY: Matt discovered the Meep down in a pit trap, not realizing she was actually the trap itself. He rescued her (at least they assume it’s a her) and now she won't go away. Newel is the only one who can understand what she is saying, and frequently, it’s nothing he wants to repeat.

MAGIC/SPECIAL ABILITIES: Meeps are incredibly cute, warm, and fluffy little creatures with big eyes, big feet, and big teeth. Nobody knows exactly why or how they were created, but everyone’s pretty sure the magician that created them didn’t make the same mistake twice. They can stretch their mouths impossibly wide enough to swallow anything, and are fabled to one day bring the Apocalypse. Though interestingly enough, they cannot eat living creatures, so are completely harmless to humans and other forms of life. They also seem to have an aversion to socks.

TRIVIA: Meeps are thankfully fairly rare, but there is a dumping ground that has three living in it contained by wards. The Meeps keep the place clear of debris.
Meeps can come in different fur colors
It is suspected only one gender has the little black crest, as not all of them do.
It is impossible to tell how Meeps reproduce or mate, or even what gender they are.
